Profile: Arindam Ghosh (Fellow, IEEE) received the Ph.D. degree in electrical engineering from the University of Calgary, Calgary, AB, Canada, in 1983.,From 2006 to 2013, he was with the Queensland University of Technology, Brisbane, QLD, Australia, and from 1985 to 2006, he was with the Indian Institute of Technology Kanpur, Kanpur, India. He is currently a Professor with Curtin University, Perth, WA, Australia. His current research interests include renewable energy, distributed generation, microgrids and power electronics applications to power systems.,Dr. Ghosh is a Fellow with the Indian National Academy of Engineering.

Professor, Fei Li

Profile: ProfessorFeiLi is an esteemed doctoral supervisor with a diverse academic background. He completed his bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering at Xi’an Jiaotong University from September 1996 to June 2000, followed by a master’s degree in Instrument Science and Technology at the same institution from September 2000 to June 2003. In 2003, he was honored with a scholarship from the British government and subsequently earned his Ph.D. in Electronic and Electrical Engineering from the University of Strathclyde, United Kingdom, in 2006. From 2006 to 2018, Professor Li contributed to the research and development departments of Schlumberger Limited, a company listed in the Fortune Global 500, operating in both the United Kingdom and the United States. During this tenure, he focused on pioneering research and development initiatives centered on key technologies for rotary steerable drilling systems. In 2018, he joined Xi’an Shiyou University as a full-time faculty member under the prestigious “Youth Hundred Talent” program in Shaanxi Province. In 2019, he spearheaded the research on “Key Technologies of Directional Rotary Steering.” Furthermore, in 2020, he played a pivotal role in establishing a “Directional Drilling Joint Laboratory” in collaboration with China Oilfield Services Limited (COSL), assuming responsibility from the university side. Concurrently, he forged a long-term strategic cooperation agreement with COSL to advance research and development efforts concerning key technologies for rotary steerable drilling systems.
